THE OUTDOOR CLUB OF NSW

How to join

The Outdoor Club welcomes visitors on our walks, but you will need to sign on as a Provisional Member. The cost is $5 per activity to be paid to the leader at the start of your walk and includes the Club’s normal insurance cover (Accident and Public Liability). This will enable a visitor to go on up to three activities. Have a look at our programme and, when you decide to go on one of the activities, phone one of the numbers on the Contact Us page a few days beforehand to ascertain details of the meeting place, time and other information about the walk.

You are also invited to attend one of our monthly meetings, which are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7.00 pm at the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts Building, level 1, 280 Pitt Street, Sydney (please note that entry cannot be gained after 8 pm). You do not need to be a Provisional Member to attend our monthly meetings.

The requirements for membership of the Outdoor Club of NSW Inc. are:

1. You must have been on at least one of our walks as a Provisional Member.
2. Membership fee is $ 35 p.a., from which the Provisional Membership fee will be deducted.
3. Complete a membership application form (ask one of the people on the Contact Us page, or get one at our monthly meeting).
