Catch bus to Darling St, Rozelle. Walk through architecturally

historic Callan Park and Broughton Hall, then clockwise beside

Iron Cove to Birkenhead Point, Drummoyne. Return to city by bus.

Kanangra Walls to Katoomba

 

A classic full pack walk which traverses the spectacular Kanangra wilderness.

Saturday 1st to 2nd November

BWRS First Aid Course

 

A two day course which has been organised by the Bushwalkers Wilderness Rescue Squad.

The course will be held at a Dulwich Hill school and will have an emphasis on the treatment

of injuries that are likely to be encountered on bushwalks. Rarely taught techniques involving

slings and splints will also be covered. Attendees will receive a Senior First Aid certificate

after successfully completing the course. Highly recommended for leaders, aspiring leaders

or anyone with an interest in bush first aid.

Heathcote to Loftus via National Park

 

Walking by Forest Ridge, Robertson Knoll & Audley. Several lookouts and an opportunity

to see beautiful old growth forest and maybe swim at Kangaroo Creek.

Colo River - Wollemi NP

 

After descending to the Colo River on Bob Turner’s track we shall enjoy lunch and hopefully

a swim or two. We shall return later in the day to avoid overheating on our ascent.
