Sunday 14 Feb Ferry to Mandorah - a beach walk, then bush and possible wetlands to the pub to await the return ferry. Possible 10-12km walk. No limit to numbers, no car shuffling - simply meet at the ferry terminal. Neville Brayley 0408 660 023 Easy

Saturday 27 Feb Planning Day - Yasmin's place, 5.30pm.
After last years success, DBC will be holding a planning day with the aim of populating the 2010 walks calendar.  Come along with your ideas for potential walks.   This will be followed by a bbq.  DBC will provide meat but please bring drink, chair and a salad to share.  New, old and potential members welcome.

Weekend 19-21 March Barak walk, Cooinda & Ubirr, Kakadu NP - drive to Kakadu on Friday night with a meal at the Bark Hut. People can either pitch a tent or hire a cabin at the Kakadu Lodge Caravan Park. BYO everything; Rod will if possible organise a Saturday evening meal under cover. Early starts while it's coolish. Day 1 will include swims in Gubara Ck waterholes, the visitor centre, and sunset at Ubirr with fabulous rock art. Day 2 will include a 6-hr walk around Nourlangie Rock (Barak walk) with rock art at the start and finish, and a visit to Cooinda if time permits.
